Mike received a B.A. from Taylor University in Indiana in 1992 in Mass Communications and Christian Education. While there, he served as youth pastor at Milgrove UM Church.  Mike then served as Pastor of Student Ministries at FairCreek Church in Dayton, OH from 1994-1999.  From 1999-2004, Mike served as the youth pastor at Foothills Fellowship. During that time, he also started a national radio and teaching ministry called Parenting Teenagers. In 2004, he and his family moved to his hometown in Ohio where he served as the Minister of Spiritual Development at Calvary Evangelical Church in Van Wert, OH. In 2006, Mike returned to Foothills Fellowship to serve as the Lead Pastor. Mike is married to Michelle, has 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
