Students Grades 5-12 meet on Friday nights from 6:30-8:30PM.
To be exceptionally good at or proficient in knowing and doing the will of God. Theme verse: 1 Corinthians 9:24- Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.
Mission: The prince of this world will throw every possible assault, from every possible angle at our youth, in order it crush their faith and make them ineffective in God’s call upon their lives (especially in the college years). We desire to train them up in God’s word that they would be fully equip to stand strong in their faith, in order to avoid the many devices that the world uses.
Objective: The 3 R’s of the faith.
- UPREACH- To be disciplined and desire to grow deeper in our walk with Christ Jesus. For He is worthy to be called Lord of our lives and King of our hearts.
- INREACH-That we would not forsake the fellowship of the church, but that we would actively engage, grow, and serve the body as we live in Christian community.
- OUTREACH-Fulfilling the Great Commission, actively sharing the gospel of Christ with the lost and dying world by the way we talk, live, and love. That the lost would indeed see Christ in us.We desire to facilitate relationships with our students between themselves, caring adults, and parents that sharpen their walk with Jesus. And, we’re dead serious about the spiritual formation of students, Kingdom service, and equipping parents to become their teens’ primary faith trainers. Everything we do has a thread that runs through the home and community. Whether it’s our Friday night Bible study or one of our retreats, we make sure that parents are informed and equipped in order to continue teaching at home what their teens are learning at church concerning Jesus’ Kingdom and our identity as agents of it. In addition to our Friday night activities, we have quarterly retreats that focus on specific topics and issues that are facing our students today.
